Sport weight version
- Gauge: 26 sts = 4" [10 cm] in stockinette worked in the round
- Yarn: Knit Picks Andean Treasure
- Needles: Size 4
- Gauge: 22 sts = 4" [10 cm] in stockinette worked in the round
- Yarn: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes
- Needles: Size 7
- Gauge: 14 sts = 4" [10 cm] in stockinette worked in the round
- Yarn: Knit Picks Decadence
- Needles: Size 10.5
Yarn: I used Novita Seitsemän veljestä about 110 g, but any Worsted/DK weight yarn can be used (check the gauge).
Needles: Set (five needles) of 3,5-4 mm (US 4 - 6) dpn's.
Gauge: To fit your yarn, foot etc. Something between 21-25 sts x 30-36 rows / 10x10 cm (4"x4").

Do we need to use the specified yarn? I thought that was the requirement last time and almost had a fit because I had to go to four stores and ended up an hour from home to find Lion Wool-ease, I loved and was quite pleased with the resaults but I was curious about the requirement
I sure hope not, because it would take me forever to order and receive knit picks yarn!

They are suggestions. With the sock bracket she let you know what she used, but she also says than any DK worsted weight yarn will do.
Same goes for that hat bracket. Use the next best substitute.
