My package is here!
My package arrived yesterday... but long-ish story short I wasn't able to get to it and really enjoy it until this afternoon.

Enna Kirts' owl has landed after a long flight from the Netherlands to NorthDakota. Unfortunately I'm at work and don't dare open it. So as soon as I get home I'll open it and take pictures and share all my goodies with you all. I can't tell you what's in it, but it's big an it's heavy...

Qualification Date Extended
Hello, all!
I have decided to extend the deadline and possibly change a rule. I believe that previously I stated that packages had to be received by July 11th in order to qualify for our Best Package award. I have decided that your package must be sent by Monday, July 14th in order to qualify. I've decided to give a little grace for those that might finish up their packages this weekend, but not be able to get it into the mail until Saturday or Monday.
How to enter your kit:
To qualify for this award you must send your tracking number to Lavender Ackerly via email (email addy over in the right column) and you must post the link to your kit post (either on this blog or your own) in the comments section of this post. If we do not have your confirmation number your pictures will be disregarded. Those whose confirmations we have will see Kit Post Links updated in this post no later than Tuesday, July 15th. If you know you sent in your confirmation, but don't see this post updated with the link to your kit, please contact me - Winnie - right away via email - Do NOT post your concerns to this post. I only want links to kits posted in the comments of this post, please. Please, please make sure to leave a comment with the link to your post as well as your Potter name. Not all of your Blogger names match to your Potter names. This will save much headache :)
Then on Thursday, July 17th, I will post the top 3 kits to a Ravelry thread. You will all have the chance to vote on the best kit. The winner will be announced Friday, July 18th, along with the winners in the other contest categories.

Ravenclaw House Quiz
We interrupt all the excitement about owls arriving with kits for another House Quiz. While spending some time with Professor McGuinness recently, he was telling me some of the history of Hogwarts. So, everyone grab your quills and your parchment and let's see how much you know!

An Owl Arrived!
I heard a scratching noise at the front door this morning, and when I went to investigate, an owl was on the doorstep, clutching a VERY heavy package from Perenelle Cauldwell of Slytherin House! It was all incredible... WAY above and beyond! I feel so blessed to have gotten to know her (and so many more of you!) this term. I don't have a camera at the moment, so can't post photos (yet).
